Overall, the script is commendable, and it is a great effort to create something different that didn’t come out the way the creators intended. So, releasing the movie online was the safest choice, and the film is okay to watch once but not particularly exceptional.

When it comes to the story, the movie is about a love story with a message about society. It focuses on the idea of the “trophy-wife syndrome”, where a man marries a woman because she is beautiful, so he can show her off to his friends.
Varun Dawan is acting as a young man from a small town. He falls in love with Janhvi Kapoor, who is the most attractive girl in the town. He tries to impress her by thinking about marrying her someday because marrying a beautiful girl gives him a higher social status.
